Settled in a prime location above Windy Corner, the Birkebeiner Club House features two levels for day use only. It is a great meeting place and a refuge from inclement weather.
Completed in 1996, it was constructed by mostly volunteer labour with funds from member loans, long-term memberships, specific fundraising activities and funds from conducting the Kangaroo Hoppet. It is Australia’s first specialist cross-country ski club to have its own clubhouse.
The clubhouse is maintained by the club members on a voluntary basis, meaning everyone contributes to keeping it looking nice!
