Welcome to the new Birkebeiner Nordic Ski Club website.

It was either Heraclitus or Shane Warne who said that change is the only constant, and so it is that we have now brought change to the Club’s website.

Paul L’Huillier and Paul Grey established the Club’s website back in2010.

Paul L’Huillier has since maintained and created valuable content for it in that time, so a big thank you to Paul L’H for all the work he has done for the last 15 years!

Technology now has made websites more feature packed and versatile. It was time the club adopted some of the features that are now available, enter Kate Prest.

The committee engaged Kate to create a new website, after some research she decided to sign us up with Revolutionise Sports. To quote their website: “Revolutionise Sport is an online, cloud-based, end-to-end platform for sporting and community organisations.”

In other words, it is more than just a website, you can pay your membership dues, enter events, see communications from the committee, access an events calendar. The committee can create invoices, track financials, and manage membership, plus it looks great. It is used by 18,000 clubs and 260 governing bodies including Snow Australia.

A big shout out to Kate, and her husband Andrew, who spent a lot of time and effort in getting it up and running and to Steph Germancheva who helped with the transition of member information
