Membership Registration FAQs

I am keen to join the Birkebeiner Nordic Ski Club.  What's the process?

Please register as a 'new' member by following the 'Join or Renew you Membership' menu item.

  • It will ask you a number of questions e.g. name, date of birth, type of membership you are requesting and whether you are keen to volunteer etc.
  • This will be sent to the Membership Secretary and they will take it to the committee at the next meeting. This might take a month or two depending on when the next committee meeting is scheduled.
  • Then an invoice will be issued - it will come from an email address no-reply@revolutionise.com.au.
  • Once you pay - you will receive a welcome email asking you to set up your members password and explore the members only section of the website that has all our important club information e.g. door code and club house rules.

When do you roll your membership?

End of May - after our Annual General meeting - we ask members to pay their membership for the following year.

I am trying to renew my membership and can't find myself?

If you are a member the previous year - you don't need to renew your membership directly as we will send you an invoice out by email in June each year - with at least two followup reminder emails.

  • It will come from an email address no-reply@revolutionise.com.au.
  • Please look out for these invoices and pay them promptly if you are keen to continue your membership.

If you were not a member the previous year you can try finding yourself in the Returning Member option under the 'Join or Renew you Membership' menu option .

  • You might need to try your date of birth as 1 Jan + Year Of Birth (e.g. 1/1/1975) because we did not have your day/month information when we moved to the new membership system.

Why are you now sending invoices requesting membership payments instead of asking you to go and renew your membership on a website?

We are now using a new system called RevSports for our website, membership and to manage events.  It allows us to send out invoices for membership payment plus follow-up reminders, run member only events, easily send email out to members and it should ensure that you don't create multiple profiles.

I am trying to get access to the members area of the website but I don't know my password?

You can request a new password reset link by:

  • Selecting Log In (top right corner) on the Birkebeiner website.
  • Choose Forgotten login details.
  • Input your username and your email address - then Request Reset.
  • You will receive an email outlining how to reset your password.

If you don't know your username please email secretary@birkebeiner.org.au and we will send you a password reset email that will include your username.  You will have 24 hours to reset your password using the email or you will have to follow the process above.

When you log in you can explore the Members Only area of the website and read all the important club info (e.g. door code and clubhouse rules).
