What is it? 

Two days of cross-country skiing skill development, using games, challenges, mini-tours and assorted activities. Sessions will be held morning and afternoon, with a lunch break in the middle.

Who is it for?

Beginner/Intermediate Skiers aged Grade 2 to Year 8 looking to have fun on skis and improve their skills.

Proposed program:

Saturday 19th July (Classic Day)

8:45am — Meet at the Birkie Clubhouse

9:00am — Welcome

9:15am–11:30am — Classic Ski lessons/activities in groups

11:30 am–1:00pm — BYO lunch at the Clubhouse

1:00pm–2:30 pm — Classic Ski games/activities in groups

Sunday 20th July (Skate and/or Classic day)

9:00am — Meet at the Birkie Clubhouse

9:15am–11:30am — Ski lessons, technique dependent on experience/activities in groups

11:30 am–1:00pm — BYO lunch at the Clubhouse

1:00pm–2:30 pm — Skiing Snow-gaine / Adventure challenge!

BYO snacks, drink and lunch each day.

Cost — $40 /child plus Birkebeiner membership.

Ski Hire — equipment hire is available from Windy Corner if needed

Note, Please register by Monday 12th July. Numbers will be capped to

30 participants.

Health Protocols — these need to be observed. Please consider others

and do not attend if you have any cold, flu symptoms. A refund for the

camp will be issued if required.
