Life Membership
- A notice should be placed in the first BNSC Bulletin of the year calling for nominations for Life Membership.
- A sub-committee made up of three existing Life Members will be given the task of receiving nominations (must have a seconder) and to make recommendations to the General Committee. This can be done via email or at a later meeting and a vote taken.
- The Life Membership Award will take the form of a framed certificate indicating in summary the member’s achievements and contributions to the club.
- The Life Membership may be presented at the annual pre-season casserole dinner in June, the mid-season dinner in July, the end of season BBQ or at another function.
- Life Memberships are awarded to honour a major contribution to the club over an extended period of time, with a maximum of two in any one year.
Certificates of Appreciation
- A notice should be placed in the first BNSC Bulletin of the year calling for nominations for Certificates of Appreciation.
- Nominations (must have a seconder) should be sent to the secretary and forwarded to the General Committee. This can be done via email or at a later meeting and a vote taken.
- The Certificate of Appreciation Award will take the form of a framed certificate indicating in summary the member’s achievements and contributions to the club.
- The Certificate of Appreciation may be presented at the annual pre-season casserole dinner in June, the mid-season dinner in July, the end of season BBQ or at another function.
- There is no limit on the number of Certificates of Appreciation in any one year.
